Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns ~ Wyvern

In Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns we have been shown a creature that should strike fear into the hearts of all us D&D to Guild Wars 2 players! A distant relative to the dragon It has been seen in every edition of Dungeons & Dragons from the original series books, the orange bound Gary_Gygax (Gary Gygax Memorial Fund) 3rd edition, 3.5, 4th edition and I am sure it will reappear as a classic in the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons.

It huge size four attacks including a bite, poison sting, wing gusts, and claws it was a formidable opponent. Wyverns could easily demolish a small or medium group of players who where ill prepared. Combined with the ability to fly out of the reach of its attackers reach and flyby attacks large groups found it to be a level based challenge that would down a player or two from the group before its defeat.

As old school table top D&D players, Guild Wars, or Guild Wars 2 players we are sure to have our fare share of losses and party wipes battling this Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns ~ Wyvern. With it’s wing gusts, flyby / raise attacks, and small battle area we are sure to have a rough time achieving victory over this foe.
